Falcon Account

• Often, you will log into systems using your Falcon Account.
  • The username starts with a "W" (usually) and is followed by your ID number.
  • Maintain your password profile at password.uwrf.edu. The site allows you to recover when you can’t log into your account. While you are there, also sign up for emergency notifications.
• Part of the log in process is secondary authentication. We use Okta at UWRF.

Okta Multi-Factor Authentication

• UWRF requires multi-factor authentication on our accounts. This means not just using a password, but also using a secondary device like a cellphone.
• There are two ways to setup Okta, the first is just using a cell phone, the second is setting up the Okta Verify application on a laptop (we recommend setting up on your laptop in order to enroll multiple devices).

ID Card

• Your university ID card helps to identify you.
• In addition, your university ID card can get you electronic door access to some areas on campus.
