Links that might help when setting up university-owned computers
- Connect monitors and other peripherals and verify they are functioning properly
- Connect to wi-fi (eduroam for on campus)
- Connect to the VPN while on campus for first-time setup
- Sign into Microsoft Office including Outlook and Teams
- Sign into OneDrive
- Check that all requested specialty applications are installed. (Some may need to be installed from Software Center on Windows or Self Service on Mac.)
- Add any printers that are needed. The Print Anywhere printers (MFDs) are installed by default
- Check that network drives are working properly
