Computer/Tablet: Installation Checklist

Links that might help when setting up university-owned computers

• Connect monitors and other peripherals and verify they are functioning properly

• Connect to wi-fi (eduroam for on campus)

• Connect to the VPN while on campus for first-time setup
• Sign into Microsoft Office including Outlook and Teams
• Sign into OneDrive
• Check that all requested specialty applications are installed. (Some may need to be installed from Software Center on Windows or Self Service on Mac.)
• Add any printers that are needed. The Print Anywhere printers (MFDs) are installed by default
