Printing: Adding a university printer or MFD (Windows)

UWRF uses directory services to publish network printers to workstations on the campus network.

The PrintAnywhere queues can print to any Konica Minolta Multi-Function Device (MFD) on campus. However, if you wish to print directly to a MFD, or desire to add a network laser printer, please follow these instructions to map the device on your workstation.

Map a Network Printer on Windows 10

  1. Open the Start Menu and search for Control Panel.

  1. Select Devices and Printers.

  1. Select the Add a Printer button (highlighted in yellow here):

  1. Select The printer that I want isn't listed link (highlighted in yellow here):

  1. Select the Find a printer in the directory, based on location or feature radio button and then select Next.
  2. You may either search by name or location. When you find the desired printer, select it and then select OK.

  1. The printer and driver are automatically installed on your workstation.
