Falcon Account: Creating Your Password

Rules and restrictions

Most Falcon Account passwords are required to be at least 12 characters in length and expire after 180 days. Some are required to be longer and expire more frequently. More detailed information on the rules and restrictions is available in the Password Guidelines article or within the Password Self-Service application when you are using it to change your password.

Setting your password for the first time

First-time account activations/registrations and resetting forgotten passwords (see below) must be done through the Password Self-Service site. First time activation/registration also includes setting up challenge questions. Detailed instructions are available to assist with this process.

If you've forgotten your password

If you've forgotten your password, you must use the Password Self-Service site to reset it.

  • The Forgotten Password option provides 3 methods of resetting a forgotten password depending on what you've set up previously: challenge questions, SMS text message and alternate e-mail. You can find more details on what each option entails here.
  • If you've not used the Password Self-Service site before, you will need to use the activate/register process to look up your account and register it. Detailed instructions are available to assist with that process.

If you know your current password
