Shared Email Box: Access from the Web

Add the shared mailbox so it displays under your primary mailbox

  • Log into Microsoft Office 365 web interface (
  • Right click on the Folders heading in the folder list and choose Add shared folder
  • In the add shared folder dialog box, type the name or email address of the shared mailbox and then select Add.

Open the shared mailbox in a separate browser window

  • Log into the Microsoft Office 365 web interface (
  • Once logged in, click on your name in the upper right hand corner
    • This will open a drop down menu in that menu
  • Select Open another mailbox…
  • Enter the name of the shared mailbox into the dialog box that opens
    • Either select the mailbox from the drop down list or select Search Contacts & Directory
  • Once you have the mailbox selected, click Open
  • If this is the first time you have accessed the mailbox, you maybe prompted to select language and time zone
    • UWRF is in the (UTS-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada) Time Zone
