Equipment Checkout

DoTS does not provide semester-long laptop checkouts. If you have a programmatic need for a laptop,
  • know that DoTS and individual colleges have computer labs with much of our academic software installed
  • work with your instructor to find a solution
  • work with Financial Aid, who can help with computer expenses for certain students.

 

DoTS provides these commonly requested items for short term checkout to students, faculty, and staff. If you have long-term needs, you (or your department) may need to purchase instead. Availability is not guaranteed.

  • Equipment availability is not guaranteed
  • An active Falcon Account is required to check out equipment
  • Equipment checkout is limited to 3 business days
  • These are Internet-only devices. Do not save any data to the computers, Chromebook or iPads. Data should be saved to OneDrive or other online storage.
  • Equipment must be returned to the DoTS Service Center before or on the day specified
  • Equipment not returned by employees will be charged back to the requesting individuals primary departmental account
