Equipment Dropoff/Pickup

Employees: No longer need university-owned equipment? Drop it off or request DoTS pick it up. If the equipment is not reused or sold at our surplus sale, it is safely recycled.

DoTS does not help you with these:

• Batteries
  • Facilities Management picks up larger non-consumer grade batteries
  • Consumer batteries (e.g., AA, A, C, D) are recycled within each department. Each college and/or department office is provided with a battery recycling container
  • UWRF Sustainability can answer your battery questions
• Metal (scrap)
  • Facilities Management can help you with your shelving/racking recycling needs
• Personal equipment recycling
  • River Falls disposal
  • Apple products
  • Electronics recycling at Best Buy
