Issue: I am unable to launch LockDown Browser for an online quiz on Canvas.
Environment: LockDown Browser, Canvas, quiz, test
Resolution:
- Clear the cache on your browser (all history)
- Uninstall any previous version of LockDown Browser using the directions for your OS (Windows or Mac)
- Install LockDown Browser from Canvas
- Make sure all programs are closed on your machine (Outlook, Word, other browsers)
- Launch LockDown Browser from the desktop once installed
- This will take you to the UWRF authentication screen
- Log in
- Choose the course card
- Open the Quiz and select take quiz
