Computer/Tablet: How old is my current computer?

There are a couple of ways you can figure out how old your computer is.

1. Go to https://go.uwrf.edu/rotation where we list the purchase date of the computer.
2. If no data is found or you are looking up a computer not assigned to you, try one of these options:

Dell Computers

Follow this link to Dell's web site and enter your "Service Tag or Express Service Code" from the back of your computer.  Or just use the "Detect My Product" button

Next, select the Warranty button.

You should now see your computer's warranty ship date which equates to the age of your computer.

Apple Products

Follow this link, enter your serial number and you will see the approximate age of your Apple device.
