Issue: After changing my password through Password Self-Service, my UWRF-issued Windows workstation is still using my old password to log in.
Environment: Off-campus, Windows, password change
Resolution: The workstation password will be re-synchronized the next time the system connects to the campus network.
- On Campus: Connect to the campus WiFi (eduroam network) or the wired campus network and restart the workstation. The system will use your new password after it restarts.
- Off Campus: Connect to the campus VPN service. Lock the computer (Windows key + L or click the profile picture in the Start Menu and select "Lock") and unlock the computer with your new password. The system password is now synchronized.
