Issue: I got an email from instructure.com. Is it for real?
Environment: email received from instructure.com
Resolution: Canvas sends email notifications to course members starting when a course is published. Email notifications come from Instructure.com, the Canvas vendor. If you are ever unsure of an email from Instructure.com, do not click the link in the email but rather log into go.uwrf.edu/learn and look at your Dashboard or in your course for new announcements, assignments, feedback, etc.
