Canvas (Students): I can't access my course

Issue: I don't see my course in Canvas

Environment: Student

Resolution:

  • Can you log into Canvas? If not, did you activate your Falcon Account very recently? It takes a full day after that activation to get Canvas access.
  • Did you enroll in the course very recently? There is an overnight process that imports information from eSIS to Canvas. Students cannot be manually added to Canvas courses that import from eSIS, so we have to wait for the import process to do its thing.
  • Ask your instructor if Canvas is being used for the course, if the course is published, if any content has been added or if there are date restrictions on any content.
