Duo Multi-Factor Authentication: Workstation Authentication Prompt

Some workstations may require Duo authentication to log into or unlock the desktop. This is a security feature. The Duo prompt appears after entering your password but before you reach the desktop.

You must be enrolled in Duo on another device before signing into a machine requiring Duo for Windows login. There is no way to enroll in Duo "inline" with the Windows login process. For more information on enrolling in Duo, visit go.uwrf.edu/duo.

 

Duo for Windows Authentication Interface

  • Select Duo Push to receive a push notification on your device.
  • Select Enter a Passcode to enter a code from your authenticator app or Duo fob.
