Mac Refresh: Update Coming This Fall
Throughout the Fall semester, DoTS will update university-owned Macs to the latest standard configuration. This update will improve security, streamline account management, and simplify common processes such as password changes.
The result will be a more secure and consistent experience for all Mac users.
What will DoTS do?
DoTS will:
- Work with you to schedule a time to update your computer
- If necessary, provide a loaner computer while your device is being updated
- Update your computer with the latest operating system and configuration
- Return your computer and answer any questions you may have
What we need from you
Complete the scheduling email from DoTS with a preferred date and time for your update.
DoTS will communicate with you on next steps once you've completed the form.
