Poynt credit card terminals should already connect automatically with our campus WiFi network. Each hardware device has been pre-registered on our UWRF-Registered network as a result of the cellular capabilities of the terminal no longer keeping up with industry standards. In the event the terminal does NOT automatically connect to the network:
- Log into the Poynt Terminal
- Swipe down from the very top of the screen twice and select the WiFi option
- Ensure WiFi is turned on
- For the list of WiFi networks that appear, select UWRF Registered
It should auto-connect at this point. If it does not, contact DoTS.
