Self Service: How to Install macOS/iOS Software

You can install approved software without needing to contact Technology Services on any UWRF owned macOS computer or iOS device using the Self Service application, the Mac equivalent of Software Center. If you don't see Self Service on a university-owned device, please contact the DoTS Service Desk.

  3. Select the install button for any applications you would like to install
    • Selecting the item icon will provide more information about the item.
    • Select the categories at the left of the window to see more options, such as those for printers.
    • You can seek items in the searchbox at the top left of the window

If you don't see a piece of software in Self Service that you would expect people to use for the mission of the university, please contact the DoTS Service Desk.
