Printing Account Update

Charges that occur when employees print or copy using multifunction devices (MFDs) and print to laser printers are billed to printing accounts which are loosely based on departments. Most of the time, when people are brought into a department or leave a department they will be added/moved/removed as part of the onboarding/moving/offboarding process. However, there may be instances where a person needs to be added/removed to a printing account such as when a person was missed in the process or when someone outside of the department is given authority to print/copy on the department's dime. Request this service if you'd like to add or remove a person to a printing account.

Notes

  • The only way an employee can print is by being associated with at least one printing account.
  • Each employee is assigned one printing account by default.
  • An employee can be associated with more than one printing account.
