DoTS changes your email address after your name changes officially with the university. Here is where you start...

• Student Preferred Name Change (Part of this process it to have your email address changed so you don't need to request it from DoTS.)
• Student Legal Name Change (Once your name has changed with the university, you can then request your email address be changed.)
• Employee Preferred Name Change: Two steps...
  • Make the change in my.uwrf.edu (in the "Personal Information" section).
  • Fill out HR's preferred name change form.
  • (Once your name has changed with the university, you can then request your email address be changed.)
• Employee Legal Name Change: Contact Human Resources (HR) to get this started. (Part of this process it to have your email address changed so you don't need to request it from DoTS.)

HR also contacts DoTS when your affiliation changes (e.g., you are no longer a student, but you are now an employee) to have your email address changed (e.g., my.uwrf.edu to uwrf.edu) - so you don't need to request it from DoTS.
