Do you want to have your course in Canvas? (You should!) Is your course not in eSIS? Have DoTS create a non-instructional course in Canvas for you.
Before Requesting
Before requesting this service, gather the following information so that DoTS can help you better
	- Is the course academic (e.g., student related, student faculty information/collaboration, advising) or professional (e.g., training)?
 
	- Are students self enrolling or are you manually enrolling students?
 
	- Are you enrolling instructors?
 
	- What is the course code and name?
 
After Requesting
To add people,
	- Enter your course
 
	- Select People
 
	- +People to add teachers or to manually enroll students
 
	- Add people using email addresses
	
		- For student email addresses that return "No Matches", send the enrollment link to them to allow self-enrollment
 
		- If you'd like, you can send students the enrollment link and skip the manual addition of students in the first place
 
	
	 
Notes
Enrollment Types
	- Student: read-only access to course-specific material. Students have the same view in non-instructional courses that they have in an eSIS-generated course.
 
	- Teacher: Read/Write/Add/Delete access to course.
 
	- Facilitator: Read access and grade write access. Facilitators cannot change course content.
