Common Errors/Issues
I changed my password and now I'm getting locked out?
If your mobile device is set up to access a UWRF wireless network or UWRF resources and you change your password without updating your mobile device, it will continue to try to access your account with your old invalid password and may cause security lockouts. Update your device using the new password immediately after verifying your new password is working for you.
I forgot my password?
When an account password does expire, most services and applications utilizing Falcon Accounts (including eSIS, Canvas and e-mail) display an error message indicating that the username or password is incorrect. Each of these services has a link on the login page to Password Self-Service where you can change your password. In addition see Falcon Account: Change or Forgotten Password
I'm a staff member and I changed my password off campus, now I can't login?
If your password was changed off campus using password.uwrf.edu, the next time you use your computer on campus or connect to the VPN your new password will work. Until then, use your previous password to log into your computer.
