Okta Multi-Factor Authentication: Prompting for Biometric

What happens if I am being prompted to use biometric and I don't have my computer or biometric device?
- If you can get to the machine you setup the biometric on, you can login to your account via myapps.uwrf.edu and add your smartphone as a device.
- Login to the machine with biometric setup
- Log into the myapps.uwrf.edu portal
- Click on your name and select Settings
- Add your account to the Okta Verify mobile app (scan the QR code from your phone)
- Configure your device (optional)
- Install Okta Verify App
- Open app and tap “+” to add an account (upper right-corner)
- Select the “Organization (work, school, company)” account type
- Select “Skip” if you don’t have another device set up already
- Select “No, Sign In Instead”
- Enter “myapps.uwrf.edu” as the Organization Sign-in URL and tap “Next”
- Log in with your Falcon account credentials when prompted
- After logging in, select the option to enable confirmation when prompted
- Tap “Done” on the success message
