The Attendance (Roll Call) tool is an external app (LTI) used for taking attendance in Canvas courses. The Attendance tool can be used for online or face-to-face courses. Enabled at the account level, the Roll Call Attendance tool can be used by all courses in the Canvas account.
To enable the Attendance LTI tool in your course:
- Select the course
- Selecct Settings
- Choose the Navigation tab at the top of the page
- The Attendance LTI tool should be in the list below the top list
- Select the three dots (options icon) to the right
- Select Enable
- At the bottom of the page choose Save
The attendance tool now should appear in the course menu.
