PaperCut-enabled MFDs utilize a feature known as "Integrated Scanning" to allow scanning to the following destinations
Note: The available destinations may be different depending on what you can access.
Scan to My Email
- Delivers the scanned document to your university email
- Available to Everyone
- Scan to email is limited to a maximum 20MB document file size - an email system limitation. If you regularly have a need to scan many pages or have very high quality scan jobs (resulting in files that are too large for email), contact DoTS for consultation on options that may be available.
Scan to My OneDrive
- Delivers scanned documents to your university OneDrive
- Available to Everyone
- There are no file size limitations
- The first time you use this you will get an email from scans@papercut.com
- Click the link in this email and sign in with your Falcon account to authorize the scans to be delivered to your OneDrive.


Scan to Teams/SharePoint Folder
- Delivers scanned documents to a Microsoft Teams shared folder.
- Available to departments that have requested it be setup
- There are no file size limitations
- Contact DoTS if you wish to request a folder get setup for your department.
- The first time you use this you will get an email from scans@papercut.com
- Click the link in this email and sign in with your Falcon account to authorize the scans to be delivered to your OneDrive.


Scan to ________ with OCR
- A Scan option that says With OCR means using that destination with run OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to make the resulting PDF document searchable.
- This means that in the PDF document you receive you should be able to highlight, copy, and search.
- This is not recommended for handwritten text, it only works well for printed text
Scan to T Drive
- Delivers Scanned documents to a T drive folder
- Available to departments that have requested it be setup
- There are no file size limitations
- Contact DoTS if you wish to request a folder get setup for your department.
