Classrooms in the Science and Technology Innovation Center are equipped with lecture capture. This system records the content displayed on the front projector or display, along with the room audio, including your voice when using the available wireless microphones (handheld or clip-on).
How to capture content and audio
- In the classroom connect a USB drive to the USB port on the lecture capture device.
- The device is located in the AV equipment cabinet and is identified with a label.

- Once the system detects the USB drive (this may take up to a minute) the touch panel will display recording controls:
- Start Recording
- Pause Recording
- Stop Recording
- When you are finished, select Stop Recording and safely remove your USB drive.
- The recording will be saved to the USB drive and labeled with the room name, date, and time of the recording.
- You may then upload the recording to My Media in Canvas
