Microsoft Copilot: Getting Started

What is Copilot?

  • Microsoft Copilot is an AI assistant powered by language models. It gives people access to better answers, greater efficiency, and new ways to be creative. Copilot is a public web service available to the UWRF community. UWRF students, staff and faculty who sign into Copilot with their Falcon Account credentials get commercial data protection.
  • Copilot supports Microsoft Edge (desktop and mobile) and other major non-Microsoft browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
  • The UWRF Microsoft license does not include Copilot for Microsoft 365. Copilot doesn't have access to organizational resources or content within the Microsoft 365 Graph, such as documents in OneDrive, emails, or other data - even when commercial data protection is turned on.

How do I access Copilot?

Students, faculty and staff can access Copilot by visiting https://copilot.microsoft.com/ and logging in with their Falcon Account username and password.
