Custom ID Card

Introduction

The Carding Office can make unique durable plastic ID card for your business or department. We work with you to design a custom badge that meets your needs without having to purchase any equipment.

• Leverage the Carding Office’s quality card printers, software, and supplies to reduce the cost of making ID cards yourself.
• We save your design for easy replacement cards or for new employees.
• We help design the card with you based on your specifications and artwork.

• UW-River Falls departments
• Police departments
• Fire departments
• Emergency services

Cost

• There is a $25 design charge.  This is a one time fee that covers the time needed to set up your ID badge in our system. If you tweak your badge design down the road there is no additional charge.
• The cost of the ID Card varies depending on the type of card you need:
  • Plain Card - $2.50
  • Plain Card with a magnetic stripe - $3.00
  • Proximity (Prox) Card - $8.00
• Also available:
  • ID Clip - $.50
  • Lanyard - $2.00

Service Level Agreement

• The Carding Office is open from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is available for ID card requests anytime during those hours.
• You can expect an ID card to take 5 business days to go from design to a finalized ID card.
