Note: DoTS does not provide semester-long laptop checkouts. If you have a programatic need for a laptop, please work with your instructor or financial aid. DoTS and individual colleges provide regularly available computer labs with much of our academic software installed. Depending on the program you are enrolled, Financial Aid has an application process for computer loan assistance.
Introduction
DoTS provides these commonly requested items for short term checkout to students, faculty, and staff. If you have long-term needs, you (or your department) may need to purchase instead. Availability is not guaranteed.

- Equipment availability is not guaranteed
- Equipment checkout is limited to 3 business days
- These are Internet-only devices. Do not save any data to the computers, Chromebook or iPads. Data should be saved to OneDrive or other online storage.
- An active Falcon Account is required to check out equipment
- Equipment must be returned to the DoTS Service Center on the day specified
- Equipment not returned by employees will be charged back to the requesting individuals primary departmental account
