What is new? The campus virtual private network (VPN) has been upgraded to incorporate multi-factor authentication to better protect information. Since limited licenses are available (it isn't wise financially to distribute to those that don't need access), please use this service to request access to the campus VPN.
UWRF's VPN service is not available for personally-owned devices. This service works only with university-owned devices.
Introduction
There are some services that must be accessed from the university’s network due to license or privacy reasons. Using a virtual private network (VPN) allows you to "place shift" - where you can be in one part of the world and from the Internet appear to be on campus. Therefore, you can access things that are normally limited to those on campus such as:

- Network Drive Mappings (S:, T: drives)

- Perceptive Content
- StarRez
- StudentAccess
- Titanium
- TMA
- UWBI
- Windows Software Center

- There is no cost to you or your department. Currently, campus pays for (a limited number of) licenses.
