After pressing the "Request Service" button, enter these (Action > Category > Subcategory):
Request a consultation > Software > Canvas
Introduction
Integrated external applications add functionality to a digital learning environment (DLE) to meet the needs of teaching and learning. All integrated external application requests need to go through an application approval process through UW System.
After you submit the Request Service form, the first step in the proess is for DoTS to meet with you to complete a form with information about the external tool for UWSA.
Once this form is completed, DoTS will submit it to UWSA to initiate their review process.

The UW System process ensures the evaluation of external application integrations across all UW System institutions is transparent, consistent, and efficient.
DoTS collaborates with you and UW System to facilitate your request through the process.

Service Level Agreement
DoTS responds to all consultation requests within 3 days.
All consultation requests are subject to personnel availability and may be rescheduled.
Once DoTS submits a request to UW System on your behalf, requests:
take a minimum of 30 days to evaluate.
for complex tool integrations can take up to 90 days or more before it enters the next phase.
for external application integrations can take 3-9 months for full approval.
