Electronic door access is set up on the entry doors of each residence hall. Between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily, residence hall occupants can enter any residence hall using their ID card.  Between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., a hall resident can only enter the residence hall in which she resides.

Electronic door access is also on various other buildings on campus.  Access to these buildings is based on need and approval from managers of the area.

  • A robust audit trail of all electronic door access records
  • Flexibility of controlling who gets access to what areas and when they get access
  • Eliminate or reduce the need for keys
  • Ease of replacing lost credentials
