Cisco IP Phone: Can spam calls be blocked?

Issue: I have been receiving some spam calls recently. Is it possible to block these?

Environment: security, scam, Cisco IP phone

Resolution: Unfortunately, there is no software or automatic way to block spam calls but there is another possible solution. You can register your number on the "National Do Not Call List" at no cost by calling 888.382.1222 (voice) or 866.290.4236 (TTY). You must call from the phone number you wish to register. You can also register at https://www.donotcall.gov/
