Software: Unable to install applications from the App Store

Issue: I am unable to access the Apple App Store on my university iPad or Mac to add new applications.

Environment: university-owned iPad or Mac, applications, app store

Resolution: The App Store is not available on university-owned devices. Please check the Self Service application on the iPad or Mac to see if the application is available there.

If the app is not in Self Service, DoTS can facilitate the procurement and installation of applications in the App Store. If you have one in mind, contact DoTS. Note the maker and website of the app in the request since many apps have similar names. If it is a paid app, provide a chargeback account number.
