Duo Multi-Factor Authentication: "You do not have a sufficient Identity Assurance Level"

Having difficulty logging into UW System sites.

ACTION NEEDED - Deadline to move from Duo to Okta no later than Thursday, October 30th. See Configuring Okta

Issue: I'm logging into Web Clock and get this message: "You do not have a sufficient Identity Assurance Level (IAL) to access this service. If you continue to encounter this issue, please contact the DoIT Help Desk."

Environment: Human Resource System, HRS, Multi-Factor Authentication, MFA, Web Clock

Resolution: This is not technically a Duo issue. Some Wisconsin System software requires individuals to have proven who they are when setting up their multi-factor authentication. If that step is skipped, the person cannot log in and get a message such as the one listed above.
