What is Stream2?

Each student is provided with 20 hours of network PVR (personal video recording) space, a program guide and access to live TV to about 80% of the TV channel line up.

Incidental use in non-residential spaces of the university is permitted only to the extent permissible by copyright law. All use must be in compliance with the Apogee End User Agreement. You may not share your user name and password for the service.

What is HBO GO?

With HBO GO®, enjoy instant and unlimited access to every episode of every season of the best HBO shows, movies, comedy, sports, and documentaries. HBO GO is free with your subscription through UWRF's partnership with Apogee TV.

Signing Up For Services

You need to sign up for the Stream2 service with Apogee via their website at Once you have created your account, refer to the installation section.  You must provide a cell phone and email address so that you can get assistance from them. If you do not have a cell phone, use a friend's number or a parent's, etc.

You also need to sign up for the HBO GO service via their website using your Falcon ID username and password.

You need to install the "app for that" or the browser plugin. You cannot just browse to the service and start using it. You must go through the proper installation to get the copyright protection software installed on your device. See the Stream2 FAQ for assistance.

Using It

If you are accessing through an app, just go into the app and streaming automatically happens. If you are streaming through a browser (Internet Explorer is the browser of choice at this time), go to, log in, and stream.
