Mobile Phone Purchase or Changes

After pressing the "Request Service" button, enter these (Action > Category > Subcategory > Service):
Request Something DoTS offers > Devices > Cell Phone > (and choose the service you'd like)

Introduction

The university provides mobile phones to facilitate communications as required by staff.  It is possible to get either a 'feature' phone or a 'smart' phone.  We have a standard voice option as well as texting and data options.  Finally, there are options for text message (SMS/MMS) and international travel. 

Our partner carrier is AT&T.  DoTS is responsible for the contract associated with the enterprise account. Any additions or changes to the account are done through a request to DoTS.

Service Level Agreement

  • 24x7x365 service to University Police and the Emergency Management Team
  • Next business day/best effort to other individuals
  • If multiple people are affected, the ticket is escalated to a high priority and worked on until repaired
  • You can expect your mobile phone to be ordered and available within 10 business days from the time your request is complete.  Smartphones are shipped to DoTS and then we will book an appointment between you and an endpoint specialist to assist with the setup of the device.
