Network: Sponsor Portal

Even if a guest does not have an eduroam account with another institution, the UWRF-Welcome network should cover most access needs - you won't need to request special network access.

Sponsor Portal access is managed and limited. If you would like Sponsor Portal access to manage people, please contact the Division of Technology Services.
Also, accessing the Sponsor Portal can only be done while on our campus network. If you try to open it while off campus or while not connected to our network the page will not load.

Initial Login Steps

This is what the Sponsor Portal looks like. Log in with your email address and password.

Create Accounts

If you are not seeing the Create Guest Account page, select the Create Accounts button.

Fill in the required fields and select Submit.

Now you should be able to email or print the account information.

The person for whom you created the account will now have an email message containing the username and password to connect to the eduroam wireless network.

***Note: These credentials will only get that person on eduroam when they are on the UWRF campus. They will not work on an eduroam network elsewhere.

Manage Accounts You Have Created

Click on the Manage Accounts button on the top of the page.

You will now see all the accounts that you can manage. Click on the account username for the one you want to manage.

Once an account is selected, you can Resend, Extend, Edit, Suspend, Reinstate, Delete, Reset Password, or Print.

Create Multiple Random Accounts

If you need to make a lot of accounts and don't have information for the people, you can create many random accounts rather quickly.
Click the Create Accounts button on the top of the page and then under Guest Information, select the Random button.
Fill in the number of accounts that you need and any username prefix you want before the usernames. Also enter the duration.

When you are done, select the Create button and you will see the accounts and passwords for all the accounts that you are creating.

You can either print all the accounts on one sheet or export them to a .csv file for further use.

Import Accounts from .csv (Excel)

If you want to create many accounts and have the information for each person you can import a .csv file (Excel) with all the information and it will create all the accounts for you.

Select Create Accounts on the top of the page and then under Guest Information, select Import.

Select the Download Template link so that you can get a copy of the file that you will need to fill out that you will later import.

Open up the downloaded .csv file and fill in the required information and save the file.

Select Choose File and select the .csv file that you just created.

Fill in the number of accounts that you need and any username prefix you want before the usernames. Also, enter the duration. Select Submit.
